David Burke Historic Preservation - Preservation Work Done Right

Thank you for visiting!  Proud owners have trusted us with their National Register of Historic Places sites. Whether your project is fancy or simple, let us earn your trust, too.

Our current project is the 1904 U.S. Weather Bureau Building, on the National Register of Historic Places, now the home of the Berry Law Firm in Oklahoma City. The woodwork on the front porch is almost completely rotten. It will be historically correct but as good as new.

The Rock Cafe built 1936 from rocks dug out to make Rt. 66.
Right after the fire. We completely restored the Rock Cafe to its original design.

In October, 2009, we start work at the National Register sites, the historic Marland Grand Home and the Marland Mansion in Ponca City, OK.

It's easy to love an old home or other historic building. It's not always easy to find someone who is trained in repairing, restoring, and preserving your home correctly. David Burke holds a degree in historic building trades and has performed restoration work on National Register sites such as the 1859 Lakeport Plantation and the 1939 Rock Cafe along historic Rt. 66.

Whether it's repairing or replacing wooden window sashes, repointing brick or stone correctly, carpentry work or a complete restoration, David has the skills and education to do the job properly. He respects the tradespeople of the past, the integrity of the buildings, and especially, you as the owner or custodian of a great old building that deserves another hundred years of life.

We hope you can find everything you need. David Burke Historic Preservation is focused on providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction - we will do everything we can to meet your expectations.

With a variety of offerings to choose from, we're sure you'll be happy working with us. Look around our website and if you have any comments or questions, please feel free to contact us.

We hope to see you again! Check back later for new updates to our website. There's much more to come! Our photos under Rock Cafe come from the project we finished in May 2009

The two story porch on the Weather Bureau Building is completely rotted. With our help, this National Register site will be strong and beautiful again.
